Member-only story
I’m failing forward with an email newsletter.
Ultimately, I’ll link to the story about how it came to be because it’s a case study in leveraging the power of awareness to do meaningful work.
In the meantime, here’s the failure part.
Three months into this project, I’ve only 47 subscribers. I knew growing an audience online was tough, but… man, I didn’t expect it to be this difficult. I attribute most of the disappointing results to a lackluster landing page.
But I’m not discouraged.
By following the principles of failing forward, I stay motivated. There’s no finger pointing, I know failure is temporary, and I vary my approaches to achievement, to name a few.
John C. Maxwell says, “You’re built to give your talents to the world; be diligent about finding expressions for them in your career.”
There’s something here — and I’ll keep failing forward until I figure it out.
